Contemporary books are not my favourite, I liked them from time to time but it is definitely not what I read the most.
Morgan Matson's books are always great, funny and emotional. This one was definitely more emotional. I don't often cry while reading, but the ending made me sobbing. I was cleaning the house while listening to the audiobook and I had to stop and sit down, it was too much, too emotional.
I also love all the flashbacks through which you can understand what happened; it was really easy to follow even on audiobook (which is definitely more difficult for me usually).
Taylor is a nice character, but even if she is the main character, I did not really connect with her. All the characters are great and I felt that even if the story is told through Taylor, the other characters were also well developed and I felt I knew them as much as I knew Taylor.
It is really a great book worth reading if you love contemporary and you are not afraid to cry.
