Shades of Earth is the conclusion of the Across The Universe trilogy and I hated the ending.
I loved the beginning though, discovering the new planet, what may live there, what happened before they landed etc. It was really exciting and so different from the life on the ship. Strange things are happening and the Earthborn and the Shipborn will have to learn to live together if they want to survive...
That was frexing crazy! I was not expecting that, I knew something was off but this is bigger than what I expected. It was really well thought and I loved the idea. I'm not going to say too much because I don't want to spoil you and you should read this book not knowing anything about the "big revelation".
I only gave this book 3 stars because of the ending. I was not expecting this cheesy turn of events. I really annoyed me.
